S&DBA is pleased to advise the introduction of a Community Advocate for players and their families requiring support or advice around managing basketball costs and/or commitments. While we strive to keep fees and costs associated with our Club as low as possible for our members, we understand that financial or personal issues can impact on the capacity of our players to meet their obligations.
The role of the Community Advocate will be to provide a discrete contact person for players or their families to seek assistance and support. This may be in the form of payment plans, certain cost exemptions or subsidies, access to contributed uniforms and equipment (new and used), car pooling, or other means of support.
If you have any questions please direct them to the Community Advocate via an email or a phone call to the stadium.
The Community Advocate role will also assist in the submission of grant applications for the Club and is seeking expressions of interest from any parents and friends of the Club with experience in grant applications to be placed on a register to assist and provide input into how S&DBA can maximise our access to grant funding to enhance the basketball experience for all our members.
